Neil Wiernik is an interdisciplinary media artist, cultural theorist and radio producer from Montréal presently living and working in Toronto. He was chosen as this year's artist-in-residence at Charles Street Video where he completed the second part of an ongoing series of works concerned with acoustic ecology, entited “Aural Snapshots”. The work for “night” began four years ago in Montréal as part of a radio documantary series made up of numerous 24-hour audio travel diaries.
