about

Goathead was the project of Bill Abominog and Peter Azagthoth.

Free of conventional notions of propriety, Goathead projected a depraved notion of society as only small-town outcasts can achieve.

The material was recorded in Cape Breton, probably in 1994 or 1995, usually at Bill’s apartment in Sydney or Peter’s place in Balls Creek. Hours of material was recorded; however only “Sermon Of The Goat” survived Bill’s nomadic lifestyle. All that remain are a handful of remixes done by Brian Damage that appeared on various compilations between 1996 and 1998.

01 Feed The Goat
From Art Sickness I cassette compilation, released by Sculpturesque Productions (Sclp 004) 1996.

02 Jesus Goat
From A Cosmic Noise Compilation Volume I cassette compilation, released by Wreck Age Recordings (wrk09) 1996.

03 You Can't Escape The Goat
From Multipurpose Saws CD compilation, released by Musicus Phÿcus (MPCD972) 1997.

04 Sermon Of The Goat
The only “original” (not remixed) Goathead track that survived. An early version of “Hymn To The Great Grand Goat” can be heard at the end of the track. From The Rosary - The Remix Album cassette compilation, released by Musicus Phÿcus (MPCS982) 1998.

05 Satan's Fantasy
From A Cosmic Noise Compilation Volume II cassette compilation, released by Wreck Age Recordings (wrk17) 1998.
