Phycus Loves the Children
April 1, 1989 - All-ages show
Dalhousie University, Halifax

Brian Damage (Vocals on 1, 5 and 8, Moog MG-1, Casio CZ-1000)
SPK-553 (Vocals on 3, 6 and 9, metal, meat grinder)
Bruce X (Vocals on 4 and 7, guitar, metal)
Scott Righteous (Drums)
Zen Fly (James DiGazio) guest vocalist on "Silent Hammers"

Soundboard recording. Good set from Phycus, marred by a bad mix,
with the vocals and keyboards prominent and everything else buried.
Still, solid versions of "Naber" and "Garbage Chute", and the only
recordings of "Silent Hammers", "One God" and "Three Laws".
The on-stage banter is a bit bizarre. By this time, Phycus were
accostomed to a more antagonistic relationship with their audience.

Phÿcus' success was minimal, but their output was prodigious. Now in 2020, Phÿcus is back with a new release, "CrowleyWood". ... more
