Tracks 01 to 06:

Feb 23, 1990 – “Les Mauvais Jours – Holy Riots – Requiem”, Galerie Espace Global, Montréal

The second of three Phycus gigs in Montreal featuring most of the original lineup, the first being “Fouf Time One” in January 1990 and the third being "Librez Monty Cantsin" in March 1990.

By the end of 1989, the members of Phycus started dispersing from Halifax. Bill Abominog left for Montreal in the spring of 1989, and Art Damage returned to Sydney, N.S. that summer. Brian Damage and Scott Righteous moved to Montreal and Toronto, respectively, in the fall of 1989, and Bruce X joined Brian in Montreal in January 1990. SPK-553 moved to Montreal in the spring of 1990 and briefly revived the ΘΕΛΗΜΑ project. By the end of 1990, Art Damage, Bruce X and SPK-553 had moved on again, leaving Brian Damage and Bill Abominog as the remaining core members of the group. Scott continued to drum for most of the Phycus Toronto gigs until about 1996. Bruce X participated by mail in the early 90`s and rejoined the band for the maritime leg of the “Trans-National Disembraining Tour” in 1995 and the Hungarian Tour of 1997.

Phÿcus was a Canadian industrial / experimental band that existed from 1988 to 2000. Phÿcus transformed from the traditional band format into a network that included over 50 contributors in a dozen locales, with Montreal as its centre of operations.
